A tomb in the middle of the lake

You must have heard the stories of love and this folk tale testifies that love has nothing to do with wealth or poverty.

Six hundred years ago , the king of Thatta, Sindh, Jam Tamachi, went on a tour of Keenjhar Lake, there were many huts where fishermens were living.

While Jam Tamachi was touring the lake, he saw a beautiful fisherman's daughter "Noori" and fall in love with her.

For the first time a king asked to a fisherman for his daughter's hand for marriage.

Noori is known for her beauty as bright as the moon of the fourteenth,

Whoever looked at her would become a fan of her beauty.

But at the time of the marriage, Noori wasn't aware that the king had already seven other wives.

When Noori became the queen of the king's palace after her marriage, the palace officials and servants refused to give her the status of queen because she was the daughter of a poor fisherman, but King Tamachi never cared.

He honored Noori not only in his palace but also in his whole kingdom.

None of the seven queens of King Jam Tamachi’s were equal to Noori’s beauty and wisdom and this made all the queens jealous.

Noori had a pure heart for her all the servants and courtiers were equal.

The king's seven queens plotted against Noori and filled the king's ears, but the king was steadfast in his love, and it did not matter.

One day the king ordered all the queens to impress him with their beauty and wisdom, and he’ll spend whole day with her who make impress King today.

All the queens appeared before the king, wearing fine clothes and precious jewels, but Noori wore old clothes, these were the clothes that Noori was wearing on the lake and the king's eyes fell on her first time.

When the king found all the queens wearing beautiful clothes and and precious jewels, when he looked at the Noori and found her in the same condition as the king had found her on the first day.

Noori's simplicity and intelligence impressed the king so much that Noori became the king's breath.

It was that opportunity that Noori's love filled the king's heart and Noori became the luckiest queen of the world.

But unfortunately, The star of the king's eye  extinguished, Noori died in the life of King Jam Tamachi.

The king was devastated by this grief and in her memory the king built Noori's tomb in the middle of Keenjhar Lake and spent the last moments of his life on this tomb.

Thus the name of this tomb was Noori Jam Tamachi.

And surprisingly, the mausoleum is an example of the magnificent architecture that is built on water and never sinks, because it is not just a tomb, but a whole mausoleum built like a building, It has been in the same place since it was built.
